 My name is Sajid, and I’m 23 years old. I’ve completed my studies in Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) and have always been passionate about guiding.

For me, guiding isn’t just a job — it’s something I truly love. It gives me the chance to meet new people from around the world, share the hidden stories and culture of my city, and help visitors discover Mumbai through local eyes.

I enjoy creating memorable experiences for travelers by showing them places they might never see on their own, from the vibrant lanes of Dharavi to Mumbai’s famous landmarks and markets. Friendly, enthusiastic, and eager to keep learning, I believe every tour should feel like exploring the city with a local friend.

Being part of the tourism industry inspires me to grow both professionally and personally, and I’m always excited to welcome guests and share the real heart of Mumbai.

 Hi! I’m Riya, and I’m currently studying for my Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree. I was born and raised in Dharavi, and I love sharing the real stories and everyday life of my community with travelers from around the world.

Guiding isn’t just a part-time job for me — it’s something I truly enjoy. I love meeting new people, answering their questions, and showing them places they might never discover on their own. Whether it’s walking through Dharavi’s small workshops, exploring colorful markets, or tasting local street food, I always try to make each tour personal and memorable.

I believe it’s important to break stereotypes and help visitors see the creativity, strength, and warmth that make Dharavi and Mumbai so special. Through guiding, I also hope to learn, grow, and help support my community.

 My name is Shivam. I’m 23 years old and have completed my BSc in Information Technology. Along with my studies, I discovered my true passion: working as a local tour guide.

I love meeting new people and helping them explore new places, sharing real stories and hidden gems they might not find on their own. Guiding isn’t just a job for me — it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in.

Through my tours, I get to combine my love for travel, communication, and culture. It allows me to meet people from all walks of life, share local insights, and help visitors experience the beauty, history, and creative spirit of Mumbai.

 I was born and raised in Dharavi, Mumbai, and have over 15 years of experience guiding visitors through the city I proudly call home. My lifelong passion is sharing Mumbai’s real stories, people, and places beyond what tourists usually see.

I started working as a tour guide back in 2012, working with some reputed travel agencies and showing guests the true heart of Mumbai. But when the pandemic hit in 2020, it affected the entire travel industry, and like many others, I lost my job. After that, I restarted my journey as a freelance guide — and thanks to the support of one of my travelers, I was encouraged to build something of my own.

That’s how Mumbai Experiences began. Slowly, more travelers started reaching out to me directly, and today, I’m proud to lead a small, passionate local team who share the same love for storytelling and community.

As the founder, I believe travel isn’t just about monuments — it’s about understanding daily life, local culture, and the true spirit of the people. Through our tours, I hope to break stereotypes about Dharavi and help visitors discover its creativity, resilience, and warmth.

I truly enjoy meeting people from around the world, answering their questions, and making every tour personal and memorable. My mission is to empower the youth of Dharavi through tourism and education, helping them build a brighter future while proudly sharing where we come from.

 I’m Jeetu, and like Balaji, I started my journey as a tour guide back in 2012, driven by my love for meeting new people and sharing the real spirit of Mumbai.

For years, I worked with reputable travel agencies, guiding visitors through the lively streets, hidden markets, and everyday life of Dharavi and beyond. But in 2020, when the pandemic hit, the entire travel industry came to a halt, and I too lost my job.

After things slowly reopened, I returned to guiding as a freelancer, continuing to do what I love most: showing travelers the heart of Mumbai beyond the usual tourist spots. Today, I’m proud to be part of this small, passionate team at Mumbai Experiences, sharing local stories and helping guests see the creativity, warmth, and resilience of our communities.
