We know plans change. This page explains how cancellations, changes and refunds work when you book directly with Mumbai Experiences.
Cancelling your booking
- More than 24 hours before your tour: full refund, no questions asked.
- Within 24 hours of your tour: we are unable to refund, as your guide and vehicle are already committed.
- No-show: no refund.
Changing your booking
Contact us as early as you can and we will move your tour to another date or time wherever possible, at no charge. Changes are subject to availability.
If we cancel
If we cancel for any reason, including weather, safety or circumstances beyond our control, you receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. On rare occasions a specific site may be closed on the day, in which case your guide will offer an alternative of equal value.
Monsoon and weather
Most of our tours run in the rain, and Mumbai in the monsoon is worth seeing. If conditions make a tour genuinely unsafe we will contact you the evening before to reschedule or refund.
Refund timing
Refunds are processed through Razorpay to the original payment method and usually appear within 5 to 7 working days, depending on your bank.
